Coming out of Norway, which may or not be dutch, or danish, or Norwegian, or Swedish, I never know what those crazy countries are called, though I’m pretty sure its Norwegian, is Ida Maria. Her album is coming to the states I believe on February 9th, which is a great day by the way.

Here is one of her stand out tracks, enjoy:

The Welcome Wagon - Welcome to the Welcome Wagon

The Welcome Wagon’s debut is a Sufjan Stevens produced album of Rev. Vito Aiuto and Monique Aiuto. Its a folksy gospel album that is pretty good. Though its hard to distinguish this from a flat out Sufjan Stevens album. So if you like Sufjan Stevens, you’ll probably enjoy the Welcome Wagon.

Sirius XM Merger

Well the sirius xm merger finally got the music channels blended together and from my point of view nothing really has changed. I’ve always been a Sirius subscriber and mainly listened to 3 channels. Left of Center, Jam On, and the Grateful Dead Channel. XM got jam on and the GD channel and Left of Center changed its name to XMU and dropped some DJs. XMU though kept the great daily shows of Blog Radio, which is what i listen to the most. So from my point of view, i get nothing out of this merger, hopefully baseball will show up on Sirius, cause thats the only thing from XM that we don’t get.
